Tips for improving absorbency of towels

Wash towels, cleaning cloths, etc. without fabric softener to improve their absorbency. Fabric softener adds a coating which prevents moisture from being soaked up.

Don’t worry – after a couple of uses their natural softness will appear and they will be nice and fluffy. This is also important for cloth mop heads or any cloth that is of a micro fiber design as the softener will clog the fibers and reduce their effectiveness.
